It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Alan Stouffer of Smithsburg, Maryland, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dennis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dennis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy G. Stouffer (Houpt) and Earl H. Stouffer; and his nephew Jay Stouffer, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Stouffer (Massie); and his siblings, Shirley Thompson, Jay Stouffer, Sr. and Cindy Reeder (Nelson). He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Aunts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Paramount Baptist Church (13234 Marsh Pike, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Paramount Baptist Church.
