He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Belle Deal (Bowers); his father Clyde W.; and his siblings, Doris Kershner, Sandra Deal and David Deal.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerald A. Deal, Jr. (Teresa), Gregory L. Deal (Debbie) and Curtis W. Deal (Donna); his siblings, Barbara Gardenour, Timothy Deal and Dennis Deal; Guy Nesbitt. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
