It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Houser (Smithsburg, Maryland), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herb Houser; her parents, Ralph Black and Kathleen Black; and her siblings, Gene, Gus, Paul Black and Dorothy Poe.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Houser (Kim) of Clarksburg, MD and Tonya Rowe (Marty) of Hagerstown, MD.; her sister Betty Possidente (John) of Baltimore, MD; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Houser (Katherine) and Connie Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
