He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McIntyre and Betty McIntyre; and his great grandchildren, Sadie and Everett. He is survived by: his wife Laureda; his children, Tina (Ritchie), Joey and Lesley (Bob); his grandchildren, Cody (Holly), Kayla (Adam), Paige (Kevin), Zach, Grace (Justin), Cassidie and Carter; and his brothers, Mike (Beth) and Terry (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Frederick County in Joe's memory.
