The memory of Joseph R. McIntyre Jr. (Smithsburg, Maryland), who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McIntyre and Betty McIntyre; and his great grandchildren, Sadie and Everett. He is survived by: his wife Laureda; his children, Tina (Ritchie), Joey and Lesley (Bob); his grandchildren, Cody (Holly), Kayla (Adam), Paige (Kevin), Zach, Grace (Justin), Cassidie and Carter; and his brothers, Mike (Beth) and Terry (Judy). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Frederick County in Joe's memory.
