The memory of Judith L. Horst of Smithsburg, Maryland, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Judith L. may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Smith and Rebecca Smith (Misner); her husband Kenneth Horst; and her niece Krista Minnick. She is survived by: her sister Linda K. Minnick of Smithsburg; her brother-in-law David Horst (Joyce) of Smithsburg; her niece Jennifer DeLawrence; and her nephew Stephen Horst. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Inc. (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
