It is with sadness that the passing of Steven Struharik (Smithsburg, Maryland) is shared. Steven, born on August 15, 1948, passed away on May 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Steven will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his brother Paul (H'Lum); and his sons, Mike (Haiyan) and John (Sherry). He is also survived by his four grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, mentorship, coaching, and his prolific contributions to the field of global telecommunications and the Lutheran faith.
