He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Barney and Greta Barney; his wife Kimberly Barney (Kimmie); his sister Vicky; and his in-laws, Douglas and Linda Fries.
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Apple (Chris); his grandchildren, Jax, Mila and Norah; his aunt Sue Fream of Martinsburg; and his pet Abby.
