With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Wright of Snow Hill, Maryland, born in Parksley, Virginia, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon our hearts remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Wright and Daisy Pettit Wright. He is survived by : his wife Lynn Wright; his children, William James Wright, Rashawn Taylor and Latoria Blake; his sister Lydia Tingle (Darrell); his aunts, Violet Blackmon and Pauline Byrd; and his mother-in-law Ella Blake. He is also survived by four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethel United Methodist Church (10203 Germantown Rd, Berlin, MD 21811). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery (10203 Germantown Rd, Berlin, MD 21811).
