He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll C. Serman and Ida Mae Serman (Roche); his brother Carroll Serman; and his son-in-law Sam Richey. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte C. Serman; his children, Katherine Serman Richey and William Gary Serman (Cynthia); his siblings, Joseph Serman, Betty Ann Bozman and Patsy Mulligan; his grandchildren, William Thomas Serman, Katie Kidd (Josh), Emily Ann Serman and Johnny Richey; and his great grandchildren, Connor and Cooper Kidd.
