It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Bernard Bean Jr. of Solomons, Maryland, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bean and Mary Bean; and his sister Mary Lou Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Alvin Bean III (Kim) of Deale, MD, Scott Bean (Eileen) of Newburg, MD, Bryan Bean (Trish) of Tampa, FL and Mary Frances Bailey (Ronnie) of Charlotte Hall, MD.; and his grandchildren, Justin Bean (Kim), Tiffany Etzell (David), Zachary Bean (Elly), Eric Bean (Chelsea), Taylor Bean (Amanda), Brady Bean (Cynthia), Ryan Bailey (Olivia), Casey Bean and Kyle Bailey. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory (30195 Three Notch Rd, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Piscataway (13405 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the same location.
