It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Bernard Bean Jr. of Solomons, Maryland, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bean and Mary Bean; and his sister Mary Lou Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Alvin Bean III (Kim) of Deale, MD, Scott Bean (Eileen) of Newburg, MD, Bryan Bean (Trish) of Tampa, FL and Mary Frances Bailey (Ronnie) of Charlotte Hall, MD.; and his grandchildren, Justin Bean (Kim), Tiffany Etzell (David), Zachary Bean (Elly), Eric Bean (Chelsea), Taylor Bean (Amanda), Brady Bean (Cynthia), Ryan Bailey (Olivia), Casey Bean and Kyle Bailey. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
