He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James Dowgiallo, Sr. and Julia Dowgiallo (Heil); and his sister Teresa Dowgiallo. He is survived by: his wife Frances Marie Dowgiallo (Knott); his children, Mary Guss (Harry), Patti Hanner, Tom Dowgiallo, Dave Dowgiallo (Patti), Vicky Miller (John), John Dowgiallo (Jonathan) and Joe Dowgiallo (Christina); his grandchildren, Emma Bowlby (Justin), Beth Stamm, Emily Hanner, Elaine Winzell (Doug), Zach Dowgiallo, Dani Dowgiallo, Megan Dowgiallo, Giulia Coffman (Dean), Hannah Dowgiallo, Savannah Santiago (Robert), Ethan Reedy, Ashton Reedy, Amber Crofoot, Wesley Crofoot, Lacey Dowgiallo and Michael Boswell; and his siblings, Louise Dowgiallo, Marie Moeller and Mike Dowgiallo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint George Catholic Church (19167 Poplar Hill Ln, Valley Lee, MD 20692). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. George Catholic Cemetery (19167 Poplar Hill Ln, Valley Lee, MD 20692).
