He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Beecher and Doris Beecher; and his sisters, Rosie Beecher and Doris Potee. He is survived by : his children, Donald Beecher, Jr. and Kelly Beecher; his siblings, Eddie Beecher and Mike Beecher; and his grandchildren, Noah Beecher, Laney Beecher and Alyssa Gregory. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the VFW Star Spangled Banner Memorial (425 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
