He is survived by: his wife Janet Cohen; his daughter Allison Lipowitz (Brandon); his granddaughter Juliana Estelle Lipowitz; his sisters, Jane Bernard and Madge Cohen (Brad Hessel); and his sister-in-law Starr Katims.
