She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vaccarino and Carmela Vaccarino (D'Anna); her husband James Plaugher, Sr.; her son Michael Palardy; and her siblings, Nancy Neukam (Vaccarino), Peter, Salvatore and Joseph Vaccarino.

She is survived by: her children, James Plaugher, Jr. (Tina), Deborah Plaugher and Nancy Palardy (Plaugher); her grandchildren, James C. Plaugher (Erin), Joseph Plaugher, Ryan Palardy (Madeline) and Kristen Palardy; and her great grandchildren, Marcus Plaugher, Ryleigh and Ashlyn Palardy.

In honor of her, the family asks that memorial contributions in her name be made to the Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
