It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Hammersla of Stevensville, Maryland, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeffrey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Ward Hammersla and Elizabeth Hipp Hammersla. He is survived by: his wife Frances Garvey Hammersla of Stevensville, MD; his brother Mark Hammersla of Amesbury, MA; his pet Mollie; his siblings-in-law, Christopher Garvey (Cheryl) and Durinda Smith; and his godson Benjamin Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
