She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Bowden Harris and Patti Jack Clemmons Harris; and her siblings, Mary Evelyn Harris Parsons and Charles Gray Harris. She is survived by: her spouse Macon Sidney Wheeler; her children, Sidney Lynn Wheeler of Stevensville, MD, Christina Dawn Peels (Larry) of Bowie, MD and Jason Eric Wheeler (Diana) of Manteca, CA; her siblings, Dorothy Eloise Harris Crider (late Roy), Carla Patti Harris Lingerfelt (late David), Harold Denton Harris and Steven Marcus Harris; her grandchildren, Sean Wheeler, Mariah Wheeler, Yvonne Tablada (Alex), Anthony Peels (Ella), Nathan Peels, Aleah Peels and Alissa Peels; and her great grandchildren, Arielle Peels-Tablada, Amajio Peels, Enzo Tablada and Lucina Tablada.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kent Island Methodist Church (2739 Cox Neck Rd, Chester, MD 21619). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Kingsley Cemetery (423 Dominion Rd, Chester, MD 21619). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
