She was predeceased by: her parents, James Efaw and Wilma Hume Efaw; her former husband Kevin Watson Melson, Sr.; and her brothers, James Efaw, III and Robert Efaw.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Phillips of Stockton; her children, Stephanie A. Melson (Josh Weisenburg) of Greenbackville and Kevin Watson Melson, Jr. (Kristen Althouse) of Pocomoke; her siblings, Sallie Pagnani of Pennsylvania, Glenn Efaw of North Carolina, Wayne Efaw of Pennsylvania, Bonnie Dreisbach of Pennsylvania and Virginia Efaw of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Lorelai Melson, Thomas Bright, Lily Weisenburg, Annabel Melson and Amelia Melson.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Crisfield, MD 21817). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
