He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy F. Beckman of Heaven's Gate; his grandparents, Margaret, Rudolph, Ted and Edna; his uncles, Harold and Paul; his aunt Mildred Harvey; and his cousins, Randall, Carolyn Friend and Sherman Harvey.
He is survived by: his father Melvin R. Beckman; his brother Melvin L. "Leslie" Beckman; his sister-in-law Tracy K. Beckman; his nephew Anthony (Melina); his great-nephew Alex of Adams, TN; his uncle Marvin; his aunts, Ruth Beckman and Peggy; his cousins, Simon and Stuart Harvey; his close friend David Miller; and also, Eugene Shreve, Lou, Cathi Ruzzi and Paul Custer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Swanton Otterbein United Methodist Church (3443 Swanton Rd, Swanton, MD 21561).
