She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd E. Parrish and Floda A. Parrish (Sweitzer); her former husband Charles Fickes Jr.; her husband Kenneth B. VanMeter; her children, George A. Fickes, Robin E. Fickes and Sherry Fickes Graham; her daughter-in-law Irene Fickes; and her siblings, Lloyd Parrish, Edward Parrish, Betty Teets, Mary Grace Parrish and Alice Paugh.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles K. Fickes (Barb) of Kansas and Lloyd W. Fickes (Linda) of DuBois; her children-in-law, Debbie Fickes of Swanton, Fred Graham of Crellin and Jolene Fickes of Kansas; and her brothers, James Parrish of Swanton, Robert Parrish of Swanton and Calvin Parrish of Missouri. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 23 great great-grandchildren.
