She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Roberts and George Roberts; and her sisters, Margaret Brock and Jennifer. She is survived by: her husband Piet; her children, Payter, Jami and Derek; her grandchildren, Lela, Audrey, Thaddeus, Sarina, Jay, Claudia, Devin, Colin and Aiden; and her nieces and nephews, Anna, Helen, Stewart and Ewan.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 184 N Glade Rd, Swanton, MD 21561.
Her contributions to Garrett County tourism were recognized when she was named an Honorary Golden Ambassador of Autumn Glory in 2013.
