He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Edward Linton and Elizabeth Walther Linton; and his siblings, Vernon, Dora Aldridge, Sherman, Harold, Donald, Charlotte Godwin, Eugene, Florene Travers, Lois Zepp, Alfred, Jr., Amythest Sharp (Betty), Irene Dell, James and Franklin.
He is survived by : his wife Bernice Vaughn Linton; his children, Debbie Weishaar (Brian), Douglas Linton and Cheryl Hill; his sister Evelyn Burns; his granddaughters, Bridget Weishaar, Melissa Strine, Jennifer Hiscock and Brittany Rutledge; and his great grandchildren, Destiny and Courtney.
