She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edwin Chaplain and Emelia Elsie Chaplain; her husband Harry J. Joyave, Jr.; and her siblings, Elsie Chaplain, Phyllis Freburger and George Chaplain, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Harry J. Joyave, III (Mary) of Westminster, MD and Kelley L. Harmon (Glenn) of Littlestown, PA; her grandchildren, Tyler Joyave, Rylee, Hayden, Henley and Grayson Harmon; her great grandchildren, Addison, Carter and Samantha; and her sisters, Doris McCartin and Lois Henderson.
