He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph Cleary and Metha Ruth Cleary. He is survived by: his wife Janet Cleary; and his children, Jennifer Cleary, Donna Gregg and Thomas Patrick Cleary. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
