She is survived by: her children, Eric Ricks and Christina Ricks-Steward (John); her granddaughters, Tanika Russell and Sherrie Ricks; her great grandchildren, Anthony, James III, Tanaysia and A'Mia; her siblings, Delores, Janice, Penny, Jacqueline, Wilbur Jr. (Colleen), Stephen and Donald (Cathy); her aunts, Juanita Honemond and Katie Harper; her uncle Dwight (Jeannie); her nieces and nephews, Wilbur III, Matthew, Michael (Dawn), Tony (Andrea), Marcus, Jordan, Caren, Cindy, Gabrielle, Betina and Nicole; her godson Jason-Griffin; and her friends, Barbara Jefferson, Jo Ann Everly, Peggy Tinkle and Sharon O'Conner. She is also survived by cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Montgomery United Methodist Church (21000 Beallsville Rd, Dickerson, MD 20842). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
