He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward N. Koontz, Sr. and Roseanna Koontz (Grimes). He is survived by : his wife Veronica A. Koontz (Forney); his children, Jeffery Koontz (Linda) of Taneytown, Gregorey Koontz Sr. (Jackqueline) of Taneytown, Kerry Koontz (Erika) of Taneytown and Lena Parenyak of Baltimore; and his grandchildren, Edward Koontz, Warren Koontz, Steven Koontz, Gregorey Koontz, Jr. and Kate Shoemaker.
