With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph C. Gloyd of Taneytown, Maryland, who passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Gloyd and Nannie Cromwell; and his spouse Jean W. Gloyd. He is survived by : his children, Beverly Malzahn (Chris) of Stafford, VA, Diane Gloyd of Taneytown and Joseph Gloyd, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Katie Malzahn of Richmond, VA and Michael Malzahn of Denver, CO; and his brother Albert Gloyd.
