He is survived by: his wife Helen Virginia Kreit (Crapster); his brother John Kreit; his sons, Joseph Kreit, Jr. (Kristin) of Hampstead, MD and Scott Kreit (Clara) of Henderson, NV; and his grandchildren, Katie, Nathan and Tyler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
