She was predeceased by: her parent Clellan Keefe; her grandmother C. Welling; her husband William Thomas "Bill" Gerwig; and her siblings, Lavinia Gigliotti and William Keefe.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Karen Barrett) and Timothy (Diane Gerwig); and her brother James Forrest. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
