She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory R. Buffington and Carrie Z. Buffington (Crabbs); her grandson Joey Matz; her siblings, Mary Jane Nevius and Richard C. Buffington; and her husband Allan Derr.
She is survived by: her children, D. Scott Derr (Donna) of Union Bridge, Donna Matz (Ken) of Centreville, VA, Danny Derr (Kim) of Marriottsville and Dale Derr (Danielle) of Westminster; her grandchildren, Heather Wetzel (R. J.), Cameron Derr, Meredith, Allison Matz, Penelope, Atticus, Bentley, Marielle and Remington Derr; her great grandchild Brantley Wetzel; and her siblings, Jerald L. Buffington of Hanover, PA, Jeanne Heltibridle of Manassas, VA and Linda M. Brewer (Marvin) of Westminster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
