We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2025, at the age of 76, Richard D. Eckard of Taneytown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Eckard and Genevieve M. Eckard; and his grandson Paul Roberts, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Eckard; his children, Cindy Lee Speak (Steve Reaver) of Richard Charles and Sandy May Clingan (Terry); his grandchildren, Corey Clingan, Cullen Clingan, Nicole and Natalie Eckard; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Avery and Peyton; and his siblings, Gary Eckard, Donna Shultz and Linda Wetzel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridging Life Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue Westminster, MD 21157.
