He is survived by: his close friend Thelma Williams of Taneytown; his daughter April Johnson; his son-in-law James Johnson of Frederick; his stepson Daryl Wedge of Frederick; and his sisters, Margaret Lee (Bishop Harry Lee) of Aberdeen, Peggy Brooks of Frederick and Frances Grimsley (Bishop Harry Grimsley) of Aberdeen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
