He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Wynn (Eric), LaShonda Hart (Courtney) and Sheleta Jackson (Edward); his wife Dorothy Hazel Jackson; his grandchildren, Jeffery, Jahla, Jasmyne, Eric and Arykah; his sister Edna Jackson Proctor (Anthony); his uncle VanDyke Lewis; his siblings-in-law, Mary Louise Cross and Vernon Johnson (Paulette); his goddaughters, Christina Thomas and Allease "WuWu" Dillard; his adoptive daughters, Duchess, Janice, LaShawn, Victoria, Carlette and Chaya; his sons, Kevin Johnson, Sylvester Garvin III, Nelson White and Melvin Hart; and his friends, Jimmy, Stewart, Lee and Martin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family, and a host of other relatives, friends.
