He is survived by: his children, Devon Dixon (Loraine) and Starr Tutt McLean (Tavon); his mother Edna McLean; his sisters, Milta McLean-Dennis (Vernon), Mittie McLean and Sonya Smalls (David); his grandsons, Nathaniel Graham, Zion Dixon and Tavon Johnson, Jr.; his niece Aunsara Dennis (Brittney); his nephew Vernon M. Dennis (Jordan); and his great-nephews, Chase Hogans and Vernon K. Dennis. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
