With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith May Weitzel of Temple Hills, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Baileys and Isabelle Baileys. She is survived by: her husband George K Weitzel; her children, Rob Weitzel (Lynnette) and Jennifer Weitzel-Gibbs (Mike); her granddaughter Danielle Gunsolus; and her stepgrandchildren, Kage Smith, Christopher Smith, Hailey, Jacob, Joshua, Marena Puller and Levin Gibbs.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home (6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745).
