She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Colter Sr. and Sarah Whaley Colter; and her siblings, Lonnie Jr., Essie Mae, Marilyn, Joseph, Daisy, Raymond and Kenny Lawrence.
She is survived by: her husband Thaddus McLaughlin; her children, Clara Ann McLaughlin, Reverend Anthony McLaughlin and Lacy McLaughlin; and her great grandchildren, Marquis, Rayshon, Caitlin, Jordan, Zion, Christian, Brighton, Zara, Briana, Ethan, Zachary, Noah, Ariel, Leira, Justis and Farrad Jr..
