Charles Rodman Myers Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 23, 2026, at the age of 92, Charles Rodman Myers of Thurmont, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Madeline Jean Ogle Myers; his parents, Charles Frederick Myers and Helen Alma Stonesifer Myers; his daughter Patricia Johnston; and his siblings, Eugene Myers (Carol), Gloria Angleberger (Ken) and Juanita Bowers (Doris Dougherty).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Lenhart (Bob) of Thurmont, MD, Robert Myers (Karen) of Thurmont, MD and Andrea Mannix of New Paltz, NY.; his son-in-law David Johnston of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Stephanie Ott (Davey), Kevin Mannix (Shannon), Daniel Myers (Abbey), Kristen Myers, Denise Mannix (Jack Leskowsky), Matthew Lenhart (Emily Surabian) and Eric Myers (Rachael); his great grandchildren, Madison Ott, Owen Ott, Chase Myers, Cameron Mannix, Makayla Myers and Colton Lenhart; his close friend Barbara Roderick; his siblings, Becky Linton (Don), Gladys Baker (Jim) and Lyman Myers (Connie); and his brother-in-law Harold Bowers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rodman received the 2013 Wertheimer Fellow Award for Excellence in Volunteerism from the Community Foundation of Frederick County and the 2016 Agriculture Advocate Award from The Great Frederick Fair.
