She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lee and Rose Mary Smith (Snyder). She is survived by: her close friend Ray Smith of Thurmont, MD; the father of her children Edward Whipp of Thurmont, MD; her children, Sheryl Beall (Kenny) of Frederick, MD and Daniel Whipp (Chandra) of Thurmont, MD; her grandson Joshua Whipp (Megan) of Boonsboro, MD; her siblings, Jessie Moser (Butch) of Thurmont, MD, Bobby Smith (Diane) of Thurmont, MD and Johnny Smith of Detour, MD; her nieces, Sally "Sissy" and Shelly; and her friend Donna Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (8619 Blacks Mill Rd, Thurmont, MD 21788).
