He is survived by: his children, Edward Schildt, Jr. (Karen) of Thurmont, Blaine Schildt, Sr. (Patty) of Thurmont and Tammy Patterson (Allen) of Dallas, GA.; his grandchildren, Collin Schildt (Allyson) of Gettysburg, PA, Blaine Schildt, Jr. (Maureen) of Emmitsburg, Carrie Laird (Nathan) of Thurmont, Andrew Parrill (Brittany) of Littlestown, PA, Charlene Parrill (Jimmy) of Waynesboro, PA, Ashley Rudd (Luke) of Anderson, SC and Coby Galderise (Lauren) of Carrollton, GA.; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Eaves, Ryan, Benson Schildt, Nola, Harvey, Ruthie Schildt, Evan, Harper Laird, Rhiannon Parrill, Lily Brunner and Brooks Rudd; and his brother Wayne Schildt of Hazelwood, MO.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Thurmont (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
