She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Eaton and Mina Eaton (Slimpert) of Newton, IL.; her siblings, Lawrence and Mary; and her grandson Lucas James Baseley.
She is survived by: her husband Richard J. Baseley; her siblings, Katherine, Betty and William (Barbara); her sons, Richard (Susan), James (Eva), Kenneth and Douglas; and her grandchildren, Wyatt, Joshua (Terra), Kyle (Dana), Brett, Logan (Sophia), Samuel (Megan), Dillon, Sara, Garrett (Cameron) and Wade. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Homes (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788).
