He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Young and Alma E. Young (Bussard); his wife Constance Young; and his siblings, Thelma Moore, Betty Kaufmann, Meredith, Grayson, Edwin, Harold, Richard, Paul and Marion Young.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick E. Young and Dale A. Young; his grandchildren, Andrew Young (Karin), Kristin Hoy (Tony), Dale, Jr. and Richard Young; his great grandchildren, Evan, Ella, Hannah, Hailey, Emma, Sophia, Elijah and Grayson; and his sister Dorothy Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701).
