Nancy Lee Creager Obituary
We announce the death of Nancy Lee Creager (Thurmont, Maryland), who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 87. Nancy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Beatrice Smith; her siblings, Robert Smith (Betty), Patricia Bass (Haskell Bass) and Joan Clark (Ron Clark); her brother-in-law Rayue Rippeon; her sister Joyce Smith; her nephew Joseph Sease; and her aunt Ethel Messner.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Lee Creager; her children, Michael Dean Creager and Teresa Jeanne Unger (Robert Mitchell Unger); her grandson Travis Mitchell Unger (Amanda Lynn Unger); her great grandchild Carson Brantley Unger; her granddaughter Amanda Jeanne Unger; and her siblings, Doris Rippeon and Richard Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Thurmont (104 E Main St, Thurmont, MD 21788). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
