He was predeceased by: his parents, Keefer Roscoe Crampton Sr. and Edna Hazel Crampton (Spurrier); his siblings, James Franklin Crampton (Jim), Keefer Roscoe Crampton, Jr. (Shirley) and Joan Crampton Remsberg (Bob); and his brother-in-law Garel Lester Hauver.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Rae Crampton (Hauver); his pet Bluebell; his son Richard Lee Crampton, Jr. (Pam); his stepson Jeffrey Garel Corun, Sr.; his grandchildren, Kalee Wolf (Chris), Kyle Crampton and Jeffrey Corun, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Hallie and Emersyn Wolf; his brother Joseph Eugene Crampton (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Crampton, Vic Barker (Karen) and James Barker (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jefferson United Church of Christ (3837 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD 21755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
