She was predeceased by: her parents, James Peter and Judith L. Dobrowolski (Anthony); and her husband Karl D. Hofmeister. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Jan; her friend Cheri; her children, Andrew Chapman (Catherine), Nickalas Hurley, Christopher Hofmeister (Joellan), Kellie Duley (Chris) and Benjamin Hofmeister (Theresa); her grandchildren, Peter, Evelyn, Claire, Vincent and Christin; her brother Mark Dobrowolski (Andrea); her nephews, Zachary and Jeffrey Vos; her niece Lyndsey; her stepmother Ann Dobrowolski; and her pet Karly-Sue. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
