“I learned of Tom's passing just recently and I am sorry to hear this news. I worked with Tom at the FCC for many years. He was a fantastic engineer and he contributed in many ways to the evolution of wireless technology and the FCC equipment authorization program. Tom was a wonderful friend and colleague. I was fortunate to see him at an event at the FCC Laboratory just a few months ago. Time marches on much too quickly. My deepest condolences to Tom's family. Julius Knapp”

“I am deeply sorry for your loss. I just hear about Tom's passing today. I worked at the Lab with Tom for many years, more than I can remember. Currently I am in Maryland visiting family but I moved to Florida permanently in 2012. I remember Tom's sense of humor and visiting his home in Thurmont several times. My youngest son Benjamin now lives in Thurmont so we will be visiting him and our 2 grandchildren on Saturday. Again my deepest sympathy for your loss. Richard Fabina Parrish, FL.”
