As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Lillian Fuller; his wife Rhoda R. Spiropoulos of Baltimore; his son Daryl; and his great grandchild Bailey Malecki.
He is survived by: his children, David (Karen) of Tilghman, MD, Dwayne (Kathryn) of Richmond, VA and Diane (Darryl) of Church Hill, MD; and his close friend Elizabeth Gifford of Wittman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Methodist Church (5731 Black Walnut Point Rd, Tilghman, MD 21671).
