She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. James Jaquet Gibbs; her son James David Gibbs; her son-in-law Keith Bien; and her brothers, Mac Maurice McGrew Jr. and Robert Charles McGrew.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Christine Stokes and Sarah Leslie Bien; her daughter-in-law Carol Gibbs; her grandchildren, Jared Stokes, Jeremy and Jamey Gibbs; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Samantha, Fletcher, Henry, Emmett and Anna. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
