“Part 2: Carol was a very special lady, and to me she always will be. She was never angry or mean, I looked forward to spending my evenings with her, and I enjoyed having her to care for. Carol was very loved by all of us, I can say from the bottom of my heart she is missed everyday, and she will always be missed. I didn't think I could ever love a stranger as much as I love her, and she reminded me everyday how important the work I do is. I know the Lord is taking good care of her.”

“Part 1: I was Carol’s evening nurse at Homewood. She was my absolute favorite! She was so kind and loving, she loved having someone to sit and talk with, and I enjoyed being there with her. Whenever I was having a rough night, I could go and sit with Carol, and she made everything better. She enjoyed watching the birds out her window, she loved to look at flowers and go outside on a nice day. She was a very hard worker, she would have me sit with her and go through her papers she had scattered.”
