She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin S. Scherer, Jr.; her son Edwin "Ed" Scherer; her siblings, John, Skip, Mary and Charlie; and her granddaughter Sandra Leigh Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey A. Dietz (David), Michael S. Scherer (Deborah) and Stephen P. Scherer; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Rachel, Eric, Emma and Nicholas. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
