It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence John Butler (Timonium, Maryland), who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tellie Butler and Hazel Butler (Ingram); his siblings, Joseph Butler, Homer Butler and Mary Streett; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Gladys Pittinger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Butler; his children, Stacey Dresner (Ron) of West Hartford, Conn. and Robin Scannell (Dean) of Perry Hall, MD; his granddaughters, Gabrielle Remillard (Alex), Hayley Dresner and Ashley Scannell; his sister Jean Kraus (Pat) of Fallston, MD; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Pittinger (Robin) of Hanover, PA, Randy Pittinger of Hanover, PA, Betty Butler of North Carolina and Donna Pittinger of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and their spouses and children; and many cousins.
