William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa T. Stickney; his child Thomas Warren Stickney; his siblings, Arthur Clinton Stickney and Carolyn Stickney Ackerman (Joel Ackerman); and his brother-in-law George J. Nassar (Annette Jubie Nassar). He was also cherished by six nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley (10 W Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's Memory to either the Frenchman Bay Conservancy or to the University of Maine, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
